4 Social Music Player Applications to share your tracks with your fans

For high tech, djs and music fans, this is a great article, on how to use an integrated application for your djing skills on devices such as mobile phones or simply the web.

A word of warning, though, some of the applications are only available in the United States. Prices vary a lot but some can be affordable and even in some instances, free!

This is also a great way to share your content with your fans, as these applications integrate social media tools and features… In other terms, a brilliant way to promote your work on the worldwide platform!

Lixx: Glam Rock is back in Dublin!

For those of you, who don’t know an awful lot about Lixx, here is a little biography about the band.

Lixx is a 5-piece Dublin based cover band. They have been playing all the songs from the 80’s and early 90’s that used to kick your ass on the Headbangers Ball, by the likes of Motley Crue, Poison, Firehouse, Def Leppard, Ugly Kid Joe, Extreme, Warrant, Tesla, Winger, Harem Scarem, Bon Jovi, Tyketto, Judas Priest, Whitesnake, Danger Danger, Twisted Sister and many more!

So far, they have played in different venues in Dublin such as The Village, Crawdaddy, Twisted Pepper, Fibber Magees and will keep playing around Dublin during the summer.

So if you are being glam rock nostalgic, check their gig dates and news on their website and myspace account by clicking on one of the below links:

I have been listening to them and have compiled for you a few pictures and a video.

“Intinn” great Irish reggae band

I’ve had the chance to listen to the Galway Intinn band on Sunday 13th June 2010 at the Button Factory.

I heard about them through Worries Outernational Facebook wall, who published their event page and from where I have been able to view some of their videos.

I enjoyed a lot discovering this original/creative West Irish Band mixing traditional reggae tunes and Irish Harp melodies.

If, like me, you are interested in getting to know more about the band or getting in touch with them for concert updates, check out the following links:

I have also taken a few pictures and a video of their little concert.
